NOTE: Matrix maker 3.0.3 is shareware, unlike the freeware v 2.7. As a result, Matrix maker 2.7 will remain on this site for those tight-fisted Scrooges(!) unwilling to pay the paltry sum of $15.00 for a program LOADED with extra features, though it long ago disappeared forever from the Info-Mac archive. In order for you to use Matrix maker 2.7, however, you must have (shudder) Microsoft Word 6.0.x installed on your machine — and Microsoft Word 6.0.x (if you can even find it, which is doubtful) costs a hell of a lot more than the paltry sum of $15.00, not to mention the fact that v 3.0.3 has a large number of features not present in v 2.7!

If for some reason — such as, for example, being a tight-fisted Scrooge(!!)--you persist in wanting to get Matrix maker 2.7 instead of v 3.0.3 — or, especially, Matrix Maker X, you may download it directly from this page. If you experience any problems, it serves you right for being a tight-fisted Scrooge!!! Bah! Humbug!!

Please note: Matrix maker 2.7 was thoroughly tested with System 7.x and Microsoft Word 6.0.x and found to be compatible. However, it was not tested with any version of the Mac OS later than OS 8.0, and it definitely does not work with Mac OS 9.0 and Microsoft Word 98 or later. The incompatibility seems to be with Word 98 and not, as far as I can tell, with the newer Mac OS versions (though since there have been some major changes in the AppleScript software since v 2.7 of Matrix maker was written, I would not be at all surprised to find incompatibilities with post-7.5.5 versions of the operating system as well). Since I am no longer supporting v 2.7, I advise upgrading to Matrix maker 3.0.3 (see above) if you are still running OS 9.x or below.
