Thanks for releasing such a great utility for
free. You must be a real moron to make mistakes using
this! Very nice done, and so useful. The kind of app
I love. October

This is a useful and important utility that saves
time and effort. And it's free. What else could anyone
want? The bad news — you really have to follow the directions. October

I have to add my kudos also. I have been using
this utility for quite some time and it has saved my
butt in the past. Whether you gloss over the dialog windows
or not it takes little time and does exactly what is
intended to do. For my final step I create a secure DMG
and load the backup into that then send it to my .Mac
disk. October

Wow! What a great utility. Thanks to the developer
for creating a free tool which almost "foolproofs" an
invaluable service. July

Incredible! This wonderful and useful utility
is elegant, both in its simplicity and implementation.
It has saved my life countless times and its author
gets my
very highest praise for constantly improving this invaluable
but FREE gem. June

Quick and simple! Great app!! - And the walk-through
makes it a no-brainer. Very fast; like the option at
the end that allows user to specificy where the backed
up files go. This is so darn quick and clean it should
be part of everyone's basic toolkit. May

Works for me! Great walk-through. Caught some
problem preferences. Price is right. Thank you. March

Excellent. I highly recommend taking the time
to read the instructions first so you know exactly what
is going on. The script prompts you through your responses
and the whole thing and worked great! February

Excellent little utility - the way it guides
you through the repair process is amazing. And it's freeware!

Out-frigin-standing! Thanks to this script,
my one remaining sore point with OS X (corrupt user preferences)
has gone from major pain to minor annoyance. More features
are welcome, but please, keep it simple. February

Thanks for the free app. Works great. Good
idea to back up your prefs folder. Nice to be able to
revert to a previous backup if something goes awry. December

Really
a nice, compact, and very useful app. Sure you can
track all this stuff down and copy it. But if you're
a lazy guy like me, you don't do it that often. With
this app, even a lazybones will be apt to backup these
important files. He's made it very easy to do. Thanks
[m-t-software] for the cool app! February

First thought — "how hard is it to copy your prefs
folder?" Reality — stuff is spread out as indicated
in the description. The rollover verification is a
nice touch. The price? Awesome. January

[A]nything that allows me not to write my own
AppleScript deserves 5 stars ;) I wrote a similar script
but not wth restore feature... That's the bomb!. . . I
love the "oops" "been there, done that" and "what?" buttons...
:) January

Thank you for making a system restore so seamless...
I spend way too much time playing with bleeding edge
beta software — knowing that I can quickly restore
my Mac after a "Goof" is definitely a warm and fuzzy...
Not to mention thanks for keeping it free... February

Took a little longer to run than I expected, but ran
seamlessly. Thanks!

This
wonderful application was invaluable in rebuilding
my system when my hard drive died recently. I kiss
the ground this generous developer walks on. Thank
you so very much for such an easy to use tool, one
that even THIS L8bloomer can understand. November

What is with this guy? I mean, seriously,
this is a KICK ASS program he's giving away for free.
It's easy, convenient, and very handy, and best of
all — FREE. He upgrades it often (I've been using it
since version 2.3.2 and in the past two months, he's
done 4 upgrades). It's a very stable, helpful, and
considerate AppleScript. And 2.3.6 adds these nifty
little features that make me do the happy dance! March

This saved me time and frustration when I
ran into a preference problem. Was a little nervous
following the instructions for restoring a previous
backed up pref folder due to his warnings through the
process. But all proceeded fine and I was back to work
in no time. Thank you! April 18, 2003

X9: There's an ancient saying that states: "There
is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving." This
may very well be the answer to your question regarding
why this developer is giving away such an awesome
tool! ;-) (May 21, 2003, Version:
2.4.4)

This script just keeps getting better, and lemme
tell ya, I had a problem and emailed the developer.
He replied within just a couple hours. He even sent
me a solution to my problem. This is all free of
charge. I've NEVER seem this kind of "customer
support" ANYWHERE. This is definitely my favorite
script of all AppleScripts. (June
